Bio (personality): The Joker’s personality varies heavily from day to day, and the one most consistent facet of his character is that he is almost entirely unpredictable. Basing his daily choices on things he considers humorous, The Joker keeps all of those around him almost literally on edge being that no one is ever sure what he is going to do or whom he is going to do it to. His best asset is his ability to seemingly understand the world around him, almost breaking the fourth wall in some cases, but then he plays everything off as if it’s all just a gag and he really doesn’t understand anything. What has remained consistent with the Joker is his practically bipolar temper and his pride in his work. Joker’s emotions range to a vast level, but the only thing certain about him is that there is nothing certain about him. He does what he loves and loves what he does, no matter who it may end up killing.

History: There have been multiple speculated backgrounds for whom the Joker originally was. Some speculate that he was a former engineer at a Playing Card factory turned Stand-Up comedian who, after experiencing difficult financial times in the aid of his pregnant wife, turned to a heist plot. During the heist (disguised as The Red Hood) he was chased down by Batman and fell into the nearby river. The water had been soaked with toxins, permanently bleaching his skin chalk white, his lips ruby red, and dying his hair green. Others say he was a two-bit gangster named Jack Napier who ran a break-in plot at a factory only to be double-crossed by his boss and dropped into a vat of chemicals that dumped him into the sewers of Gotham. Others say that he came from a broken home where his drunken father, after brutally beating his wife, held the Joker at knife-point and in his inebriated rage created the permanent smile on his face. According to files by Dr. Harlene Quinzel, Joker had an abusive child-hood who’s only solace were trips to the circus. Joker’s family life also remains a mystery. Some speculate his pregnant wife died in a household accident. Others speculate that she had debts to the mob and was scarred as a result, only to push away her husband when she saw his new appearance. No one is 100% certain who the Joker is, really. Some swear he makes it up everyday. Only one man knows the truth… and he’s crazy.
